The funds raised will support vital Suicide Prevention Services in the Illinois Fox River Valley. \nThe 3 mile walk at Pottawatomie Park in St. Charles\, IL starts with a brief moment of silence for those that have died by suicide. \nWhen you gather sponsor pledges and walk with us you:\n\nHonor the life of someone who died by suicide.\nShow your support to survivors of suicide.\nForward the cause of suicide prevention.\nLearn what you can do to prevent suicide.\n\nFor more information about suicide prevention please follow this link. Suicide Prevention Services of America \n\nT-Shirts\nNew this year: Instead of having an abundance of t-shirts on hand\, we are offering the official 2026 t-shirt for pre-purchase at $30. Be sure to secure yours in advance! \nPre-purchase will end on August 17\, 2026. Limited extras will be ordered and sold on the day of the event for $35. It will be a first come first served basis for extras. \n\nDetails\nDate: September 12\, 2026 \n8:00 a.m. Registration Opens \n9:00 a.m. Walk Begins \nThere will be light refreshments available\, music and more… \n\nMemory Markers\nMemory Markers will be available for purchase for $100\, must be ordered by September 7th. They are a tribute to your loved ones. Each Marker honors your loved one by including their picture\, date of birth\, and date of passing. Each marker will have its own stand and line the walk route. This is a great way to memorialize a loved one and make a donation to Suicide Prevention Services of America. \nMemory Markers must be purchased in advance by contacting the office at admin@spsamerica.org or calling \n630-482-9699. \n \n\n\nPinwheels\nMemorial Pinwheels will be for sale for $5.00 per pinwheel. \n \n\nSponsors\nSuicide Prevention Services provides companies with the opportunity to engage in the Here for Life Annual walk by becoming a named sponsor.
