Letter from a 50 Men Who Cook attendee

Hopeful for 2012: A present for SPS

To start the brand new year off in the best light, we’ve created a video. The instructions were: send a photo of yourself with a note of what you are happy and/or hopeful about. The results were amazing. Thank you to all who participated, and a very special thank you to super volunteer Jen Slepicka for coordinating and producing this inspiring message.

Click here to view to the video now.

Cheers to an amazing 2012! Hope, Light, and Peace to All.

And the Winners are…

The winners of the Chicago Blackhawks “suite” adventure and the Naples, Florida vacation escape were just announced!

#1 winner: Stephanie Kurtz. Stephanie will be going to the Blackhawks game in March.

#2 winner: Karen Mueller. Karen has won a week in a vacation home in Naples, Florida.

Thank you so much to all who bought tickets and participated. All proceeds will support our mission to open minds, prevent suicide and restore hope.

CHRISTMAS EVE 2011

Suicide Prevention Services began a new tradition in 2007. On Christmas Eve, luminarias are lit at Stone Manor in memory of those who are no longer with us.

Our thanks to Jon Habegger for capturing the moment in these images from the Christmas Eve 2011 Luminaria at Stone Manor, and to all who participated in and supported this special memorial event.
